Bobby Locke Junior Classic

In honour of Bobby Locke, the 1955 Australian Open winner, played at Gailes GC, this Qld State Order of Merit Junior Strokeplay Event played over 2 days (36-holes) at Gailes is for all junior boys and girls under the age of 18 years with a GA handicap (or overseas equivalent)

The Bobby Locke Junior Classic came to end today with Jay Topakas being named the Bobby Locke Medalist for the boys with a Gross score of 152 ( 6 over par)Anna Chen was crowned the girls Bobby Locke Medalist with a Gross score of 154 (8 over par)The 36 hole nett Winner went to Sean Toscan on 144(2 under par) whilst Bee Han won the 36 hole nett on 149(3 over par)Thank you to all involved in running this years event, particularly our green staff, who during some difficult weather of late have prepared the course exceptionally well. ...
